im from up north (buffalo) but ive been debating a move down to VA for some time now. i sent out a bunch of resumes to dealerships and automotive shops since thats where i work up here, and i got a call from RK Chevrolet asking me to come down and either be a service writer or a service team leader at their dealership in VA Beach. anyone familiar with this dealership or have any experience with them? are they respected or hated, or middle of the road?
figured id get the info from the local scene than asking them :P
i worked there as a lot attendant. the service side is fine. if your a salesman, stay as far away as possible. but to a tech there would be ok. quality of work is fine from my experience.
a friend of mine is a service tech at RK Toyota in Hampton. He likes it well enough. He actually transfered from Suttle here in newport news because he would be making much more with RK.
