Default looking at getting an in-dash dvd/cd/mp3/tv

ok so im looking at getting an in-dash dvd/cd/mp3/tv for my jeep.

id really like to not spend anymore than $1,000, the only website aside from the standard best buy/circuit city that i know of is crutchfield.com.

is there anybody here that can assist my in my search at a nice one to get? is a $1,000 price range not enough?

any info/tips/websites to help me in my search would be greatly appreciated.

Thats the one I have and I love it. Got it a few month old from a drag member for a very good deal. Great sound and plenty of options.

If you're considering a double din then go for the Alpine IVA-W200. It is an indash 6.5" Pluse Touch screen DVD player that has the best/fastest integration with an Ipod w/o having to buy a separate box (you only have to buy a $20 cable). Plus, if you decide to get the TV tuner, the Alpine tuner is cheaper than the Pioneer's. The unit itself retails for $1100 but can be found as low as $700 - $800. Unfortunately the unit itself, at the moment, is currently sold out in most placest but will be readily and abundantly available next month. And if you absolutely have to get it now then Ebay has them for retail.

Otherwise, if you didn't want a 6.5 double din, I would go with the Alpine IVA-D310. Ebay should have that for around $900 and basically comes with similar features as the IVA-W200. Or even the Pioneer AVIC-N1 (yes the older model, easier to bypass and cheaper as well) is worth looking into.

Personally I wouldn't go with a Panasonic HU since the only decent things out there, that I use to sell/install at my last job, were the Alpines and Pioneers. But if you really had your mind set on that Panasonic then buy it from here: http://www.etronics.com/product.asp?...10&svbname=293
