im chillen at a stop light today and i put it in first.. light turns green so i let out the clutch. clutch is engaged about half way and then i hear a loud ass thump and the shifter slams out of first. it does this about half the time now from a dead stop.. from a 5mph roll its fine tho. is this bad gears; clutch, or tranny? i drive a 2000 mustang and just installed a short throw shifter.
yep.. it was the shifter.. took it to the hobby shop today and took it apart.. the bolts used as stoppers were bolted in way to far.. just pushed em out a little runs good now.. thanks guys
