I figured it was a given that of any auto plant that would be immune , it would be our Ford truck plant but as you all may be seeing, they announced it is closing in 18 mo.s . I bet everyone on this board know someone who works there, I definately do.
F Series is the best selling vehicle in this country which puzzles me. Maybe if it wasn't $40,000 for a pickup truck nowadays.

Its a HOAX! Rumor has been going around for a while..I don't think it';; happen.

 

umm ok why would this be a hoax?? It is being reported through every major news outlet and both the President of Ford North America and The Ford Americas CFO are both quoted as stating Norfolk is being shutdown.

It sucks that people are losing their jobs, but they'll be better off working for someone else anyway.

i was watching the price is right this morning and they interupted a game of plinko with a special news bulletin about it. you don't interupt plingo for a rumor.
