I heard the Type S was good. The B series trannys bolt up to a H22a? I am trying for torque and accel, not necessarily max speed.

um, a B series tranny does not bolt to an H series tranny.

if you are looking for acceleration, do some research on the gear ratios, and find one w/ the shortest gears. a lot also depends on your wheels size as well. then you have LSD, clutch, flywheel.

Right now I am just concerned with the tranny. The type S tranny has LSD and decent ratios for now. Appreciate it.

And Dr....That won't work.

no no no..you dont want theshortest gears. You want them longer in a lighter car. You'd be going through gears so quick.

Use the f22 tranny. Granted you'll be tad bit slower (not much at all still wooping everyone's ass) but the gearing is so much longer and better.
