DSM owners, quick questions for you.
Where do you do your turbo shopping for TD05's. (i.e 16g EVOIII, 18G, 20G)
I've heard bad things about turbochargers.com
I've heard good things from buschurracing.com
What are your opinions on the sleeper 16G? (TD05 20G) Prefer internally gated.
This will be the first set of turbos purchased through a non-3/S vendor.
Thanks for any input.

FP sleeper 16G is an awesome turbo, but kinda expensive. gotta pay the price for the sleeper effect though i guess.
I know several vendors.. what are you looking for? hit me up if you want, i probably know the best place to get pretty much every DSM part there is.

Dave,
Is it worth it to you to spend twice as much money for the sleeper 16G compared to the standard EVOIII 16G?
Sleeper 16G $1170
EVOIII 16G $539
Only asking because I am new to the DSM line of turbos. 3/S sizing is old hat, but nothing suits my needs there.
Again, internally gated TD05 is needed.
Now..... if you have a deal that is unbeatable on those sleepers, please let me know.
Regards,
- Jay

SO... if all FP is doing is slapping a 20G compressor wheel in an otherwise stock 16G turbo.... they're making some fucking loot on machine work.
I'll be damned if I can find two used sleepers for sale. These must be quite the street turbo for you guys.
Then there is the TD05/06

fitment could be an issue.

I think Turbochargers.com was selling the Evo GT which is the cheap knockoff of the EvoIII 16g.
I dont have any experience with the EvoIII 16g, but the Sleeper 16g is very expensive.
What car is this going on? I would think a 16g is a bit too small for your VR4.

Is slowboy racing a reputable turbo dealer?

Remember kids, we 3/S'ers rarely venture out of our own little world. hah.
