Default In response to the theft of cars in this area.

Listen, those of you who have had your car stolen, here is some advice. I was sitting thinking to myself how 11 cars could get stolen in a few weeks time and no one has seen anything.

Well I came to some conclusions.

#1. Whoever the culprits are live local, VA Beach, Norfolk, Hampton, somewhere in the vicinity.

#2. The garage or business they're storing the cars in have to be in this area to. How would you get a stolen car out of the area quick? You cant, you would have to hide it so no one would see you strip it and tear it down.

So I am guessing whoever is stealing these cars are part junkies that have a big garage or access to a building where they can store these. I hate theives and I hate liars even more. Chances are that the individuals read this site as well because think about it? How many guys on here have nice modded cars and people know where you live? Exactly.

So if anyone is wanting to start a small group of people to go looking around and sniffing around, ill join you. Im a ballsy kind of guy and after reading the thread about Jerroll(sp?) getting his 2000 SI stolen, it just pissed me off. Someone has to do something about this if the police arent going to.

Like I said before, I say we just go out on the weekends and go searching. With as many people we have on this site, if we bond together I am sure we could uncover something.

The problem out here is pretty big. I think if everyone gave all the details they could of suspicious activity, we could start to paint a picture. I think you're right as far as the thieves having a garage. The shells aren't popping up anywhere. I don't think they're simple junkies, but I think a/some local garage owners know what's going on.

Chris "Black Nugget" had his integra stolen on the 10th. He had a viper alarm too. That same night someone checked out my car. They did it between midnight and 4am. They wiped the night frost off of the passenger window to see the interior. So, are the walking the neighborhoods at night? Maybe to not look as suspicious as they would if they stopped a vehicle by another to check it out. They popped my hood but didn't get into the car. Then, less than two weeks later they came back for mine, plus they took a 92 hatch that was mod'd with a B16 swap. That car was just around the corner. So, they're doing their homework at night, targeting neighborhoods where people have to park on the street, and coming back later to collect.

Yeah Jeroll, I think its a local garage around here to. And I am a firm believer that there are no such thing as coincidences. So have you met anyone new recently that may have known where you live? There has to be someone going around playing as someones friend or even conversating with the person.

I just dont see some theives driving around looking for cars to steal. Especially as quick as they get away. Its like they form a plan before hand.

Hmm, yeah maybe you're right. So do they seem to be targetting specific neighborhoods? or just cars? It seems like the majority of cars they're stealing are hondas?

ALARMS DONT DO SHIT, if they want your car they will fucking take it

the best things you can get
Quick Release steering wheel
fuel cut off switch
battery cut off switch
clutch club

but seriously if they want it they will take it, trust me my crew has had 15 cars stolen from us, we know they will take it..watch out for shady tow trucks as well

If you think this area is bad, go try living in Seattle area with a import. See how long you get to keep it.
