I got a motor today nothing special but its better than what I have now. I really don't know what I'm doing. I have some tools, I'm sure not everything and I don't have a cherry picker. I know it would be easier with one but do I need one to do it. Anyone want to help this will be my first swap. Thanks

All of my qualified techs are too busy to do it for free. Some may be for hire.

 

I will do one more a h22. I just needed something, I can't take the cx power anymore. I don't have a place to keep one or I would get one.

If you do it this weekend, I doubt I'll be able to help. It's my b-day Fri. and I'll be doing some drinking which will probably incapacitate me for the whole weekend.

If you don't have a cherry picker, undo all the mounts, raise the car, and slide the engine from under. You'll need some strong jacks that can lift your car higher than normal.

 

Don't fuck around. Get a cherry picker.
