sawzall and pads(not maxi w/ wings)
sup yall.
just wondering if any of you own a sawzall. my friend is about to install aem cai on his 5th gen and as gay as it sounds..... on a 5th gen prelude, you have to widen the hole as the 3-inch piping will not fit in an "oem hole." please let me know.
by the way, i finished my brake pads today. it was all good except for the fact that i didnt know my rear brake pistons are a "screw type" so i couldnt use the c-clamp like the front. i thought dat was pretty gay. so, i had to buy a piston compression tool but it sucks ass and i dont plan on putting on brake pads on my car anytime soon, so imma return the damn thing. the pads feel like oem. guess das pretty good.

you all worry too much about "how's this gonna make me in autox categories"
Justin won't mod his car so he won't change classes!!! That's just awful. Mod the car, it'll be faster and handle better, then move up in class and compete with other people who are similar.
Just mod the car how you like it, and compete with it how it is, that's the way they designed the classes, to accomodate for that stuff. I've changed classes a lot and don't mind a bit, I still do well in my class. Pretty soon I'll be in some kinda wild class they won't be able to identify! Oh well, the car is how I want it to be, and I can still race it how I want to.
That said, look on ebay. You can get a new sawzall for $18 shipped.

A CAI by itself doesnt take you out of STS, but if you have to cut (or even enlarge) a hole for it, say goodbye to STS. Now, unless your very competitive, you can probably still run STS and no one should care.
