I went up there today with my friend to see what the shop could do for me and since they do alot of hondas I figured it would be a great choice...especially since they are in chantilly and I am in centreville, not far at all.

They would charge me $1k for a B series motorswap in to my hatch for labor and would include the misc parts I would need from an Si such as throttle cable, tubes whatever....I would just need to order the motor myself with all the necessary parts. What do you guys think? are they good shop? he said it would take about a week...judging by the cars that come out of there, I would say they seem pretty good.

Any advice?

 

Honestly they have the best rep in the area and they know what they are doing, they started off doing pretty much just hondas, not it seems they specalize in 350z and S2k's but yeah they know what they are doing and they can back their work up since they have a high rep to uphold.

yeah when i spoke to the guy, he broke it down for me clearly, and it made a whole lot more sense. I was thinking a swap would be this whole confusing mess but it really seems he knows his shit and can do it for me and really well with no problems, as long as i provided what he needed.

When i do come up with the capital ill probably be taking a trip up there to have it done.

 

They were good when Jeff ran the place. I haven't been there since Steve took over.

I visited there a few times and went out to a few of their meets. They installed my S-AFC for me for a good price. they know what they're doing. they have a good rep. I didn't know Jeff left..

 

awesome bunch of guys. will always take care of their customers. Steve is cool as hell, and knows how to turn a wrench!!

I've heard good things about them, but I've never hard work done there.
