what is the difference between a 88-91 civic stock dx 5spd cluster and a 88-91 stock civic si 5spd cluster? just wonderin....

i think the dx does have a tach in fact i am like 99% sure they came with a tach if they were a manual

I am pretty sure that both have tach's. How ever I know on CRX's 88-91 wiring is different, there as they made changes after 89 so new "stuff" in 90-91. On the Si's, i believe there is a little green arrow to tell you when to shift during economy driving, and theres a little blue plug slot in the center of the guage cluster, located on the rear for the tachometer.

hell no it doesnt have a tach, ive had 5, stock dx clusters have no tach and look like shit, thats what i have in my ef sorry to say

i think they do have a tach because my 89 ef has one and it is dx.... thanks for input so far...

Sorry bro, I ripped a guage cluster w/tach out a 89 DX CRX. EF's don't come with tach's tho in the dx model.
