Im looking for new toys for my 2006 GSXR 600. I cant find anything good besides bar ends and frame sliders. I want a extened swing arm and a nice chain. If anyone can help me out with some nice bike parts sites and/or a bike forum with pics of lots of gsxrs i would appreciate it.

you got the wrong bike for that bro.. i dont even think they sell extended swing arms for 600's? i may be wrong though. you may be able to get some swing arm extensions.. but you should of gotten a 750 or a 1000 for that ish...

i have the same bike.. if you got to www.gixxer.com , theres some good info and its a pretty well rounded forum from street riding, track days/road course racing, drag racing, turbo's, nitrous.. ect.

im guessing your into drag racing if you want an extended swing arm.. theres a guy on the forum who saw a bone stock (i mean off the show room floor) k6 600 run a 10.60 @ 127mph.

putting an arm on a 600 is the equivalent of putting wheelie bars on a V6 mustang

its really expensive, unnecessary, will destroy the handling and rideability of the bike, probably void a good bit of your warranty, and i can guarantee alot of people will be laughing at you... not trying to be harsh just trying to keep you from spending money on something you might regret, if your into drag racing i'd get an exhaust, air filter, shifter, lower it, and learn how to go really fast on it stock wheelbase first... but ultimately its your bike and your money and if thats whats going to make you happy don't let any of us stop you, right now i have no idea where you'd find an arm for a new 600 though to answer the original question

parts are just starting to slowly become available for it, you should see alot more stuff in the near future coming on the market

yea.. it would be nice to see an exhaust that doesnt look and sound like complete ass.. so far the stock system is, in my opinion, the best thing out so far. the m4 in black looks good, but sounds worse than a D&D..

Del La Sol 1320 : you work at a dealer dont you? have you seen a pair of dog bones for the 600? i would like to have something i can throw on the bike when i go to the drag strip, and take off for the street. what about strap mounts for the calipers to strap the front end? im not into drag racing too much, but i would like to do some stuff like that and see what i can get out of it.

 

I use these with schnitz straps, i'm pretty sure the ones for the 05-06 1000 will fit yours

the links for the 06's are different, instead of two simple dog bones its a one piece unit with a bearing carrier built in, like this



so it will take a little bit longer for someone to develop something but i'm sure in the next few weeks something will come available

i agree about the exhaust, considering looks like slip ons for it will be $500+ i haven't seen anything yet that knocked my socks off, if i had one i'd probably just leave it stock unless someone comes out with something really really cool
