Where to get tire installed in Hampton Roads?
I can't believe something as simple as changing a tire is such a hassle. I've called a few dealerships and they only want to work on their brand. I have a Ducati Monster. Cycle World actually told me they don't stock tires for Ducatis. What?!?!? I prefer to install a set of Michelin Pilot Powers, front and rear. Anyone know a place that sells these tires and can install them on my bike?
TIA

My brother is having the same problem getting the same tires mounted on his Katana. He went to Cycle World too...I was laughing my ass off when he told me about his conversation there.
D&D in Norfolk has always taken care of me, but they might have a waiting list. I think Casey in Newport News mounted my last set of tires.
PM skr00zloose on the board, he's a cycle tech.

its worth getting a cheap set of stands so you can take the rims in vs taking the whole bike. Casey charged over $50 a tire to change mine with the rims being on the bike
yes, we have a tire machine at the shop
yes, it's ALOT cheaper if you can get the rim off the bike and take it to the shop.
cycle world doesn't sell tires for ducati's huh??? thats too funny.
