Drag Group Run - Crozet - June 2-4th
**EDIT**
I just found this, so i guess either go to George Washington Forest or wait..?
Since there has been enough interested for about 6-10 people, i figured it was a good idea to start a new thread.
We can meet up at Bass pro shops friday evening (7pm?), this will put us there a little late but I'd rather wake up there and do some wheelin'!
All those going Chime In here.
We'd be back sunday sometime.
All fee's associated are your responsibility, as well as camping gear.
All those planning to go should have AT LEAST the following:
1. Front and Rear recovery points
2. Tow/Snatch Strap
3. Spare Tire
4. A jack that will lift your vehicle.
5. Tools to fix what you break.
6. Food.
I also prefer not to wheel with drunks

Re: Drag Group Run - Crozet - June 2-4th
Is their a website I can visit to see this place and find out what, if any, their minimun trail rules are? I know some things are in the first post, but just want to make sure my truck is legal before I drive 4hrs. Picures would also be cool, so I could see what I'm getting myself into. I looked around on the web, but couldn't find anything about the place except this. I found this on some Ford Explorer website, do you really need ALL this crap or this just the way this club operates?
trail levels
(blues - stock to some mods; blacks - 33's or larger, at least one locker, etc.; reds - if you
have to ask...). Participants will choose trail levels on a daily basis
(i.e. can run blues one day, blacks the next, and vice versa).
RULES & REGULATIONS
·No Alcohol on the trails. There will be daily inspections of all rigs prior to hitting the trails.
·Water, 1 gallon per person per day minimum.
·Card kept on your person with emergency contact info and medication allergies.
·Personal supplies for at least twice the time you plan on being out:
If you are going on a morning trip, pack a lunch and trail snacks, beef jerky, fruits, dry/canned food, etc. If you are going on an afternoon or all day trip, assume you may spend the night in the vehicle and pack accordingly: medications, flashlight, batteries, matches/lighter, and blankets & gear appropriate to the environment, area, and season.
·CB: do not even think of showing up without one!
·Fire Extinguisher
·First Aid Kit
·Spare Eyeglasses (if needed)
·Spare Key! kept on your person
·Towstrap, at least 20', bare with no metal hooks/brackets attached
·Full Size Spare Tire, lug wrench
·Standard Bottle Jack with 12" square wooden platform for use in soft ground
·Basic Tool Kit
·Fix-A-Flat and/or Tire Plug kit and air compressor (12 volt plug-in or other)
·Trash bag, for your own as well as other's trash
·Towpoints front and rear, frame mounted
Radio frequencies
Once in town, these will be our frequencies. If you can tolerate it, we suggest you do not squelch your CB in order to maximize reception.

This sounds good, I'm definately down for this.
For those wondering what Crozet looks like, this kinda gives you an idea.

Re: Drag Group Run - Crozet - June 2-4th
have you checked with chris to see if there is open wheeling on that weekend? Id be down as well for this weekend. How many people will be towing there trucks up there? Just wondering to see if anybody will be goin my speed on the highway. No 4 wheelers arent allowed on the trails. And if your wondereing if your truck will be able to wheel last time i was up there, there was a bone stock sami wheelin on the blue trails. shit was funny to watch, but he made it and didnt break anything.
