I havent even been here that long and got pulled over this morning for illegal tint. And im from fuckin Florida. Florida tags, plates, address and license. So he states that even if i was passing through the state i could get a ticket. So..... being that i cant get a hold of anyone in the courts.. how much is a tint fine? The menu listed every damn violation BUT tint. And states that anything not listed was $30.

 

With court costs, your looking at probably ~$75.

If you don't like it, GTFO.

 

you could always do like someone from fl to ga. They got pulled for the tint and they sued the state of ga and won. but i would fight it if i where you.

I dont think $30 is worth my time. But as far as your comment about GTFO..... you can keep that to yourself.

This is you, doesn't matter out of state plates or not.

Its a law and you broke it. Just because you have Florida plates doesn't mean anything, you are driving on VA roads.

I believe that would have been a good idea before the ticket. Just get the legal % tint and you're fine.

I had Arizona plates when I first got here and got pulled over twice in a week, 2nd time a ticket. I fixed the tint and paid it. That was just me, I couldnt give you advice on fighting it. Just wasnt worth it to me.

you can just pay the ticket, it's under "improper equipment" so it's going to be a little more than 30$. I just had the same thing happen, and w/ court costs it's around 80$.

so you can pay the fine or you can scrape the tint and take a picture of it and they will usually drop the ticket if you can show proof that you "fixed' the problem.
