Actually, that answers some of the questions I posted a while ago. You know I am a sr20 fan but I dont see why people throw a perfectly good KA out just to drop in a sr20. The KA has a ton of potential in the 300whp range.

yep. my point exactly. My car would be slower if the SR20 was still in the white car. being heavy and all. the low end lost 70hp but gained 120 in the top end.

absolute trash. thats why its in a 2400lb chassis and i dont drive it everyday.


so, i add torque to an already torquey KA by adding a small turbo with a divided housing using a pulse converter manifold. It should be the bomb and i cant wait to show it off next month for the drag va interview.

Did you see the dyno comparisons??? look a little closer.

see where the torque peaks are?

same HP and same Torque, just look where they are for each motor.

i didn't know stock ka coudl take that much boost, so you are choosing a turbo ka over a turbo sr?

well i have both.....

A properly built ka, yes i think i'd choose it over an SR.

just a fyi, that time abailey269 quoted was for loren jacob's 1999 eclipse gsx which ran an 11.8 on a bigt28.
