Sitting at the corner of Oyster Point and Jefferson, I watched this kid in what looked like a Black, Red, and White mini-truck (Extreme ???), with Chrome rims plow into a Blue Toyota Corolla. The Kid slammed into the car and I actually saw pieces fly from his front bumper, which appeared to be a kit.

Anyone know this kid? He stopped, then when the Corolla pulled up, he switched lanes and took off. There were too many cars in the way for me to make a quick enough U-Turn and chase him down. I was sitting in the turn lane, about 3 cars back. It happened right in front of McDonald's at about 5:55 PM this evening. If anyone knows the kid, let him know that I wasn't the only one to see the punk take off. I hope he got caught.
His front bumper has to be pretty ripped up.

No, it happened too fast. And I wasn't in a good enough spot to get his tag, I only had a view from the side. I did notice, however, that it appeared to be a young guy probably still in high school.

I "THINK" I've seen this truck about three times on Va Beach Blvd by Central 111. Could be mistaken but pretty sure.

 

One thing I've learned from the hit and run that happened to me is that unless you were injured, the cops won't do shit. Insurance won't do shit (all they have to do is deny they were there). The only way to get anything settled is with witnesses or with two busted cars.

It's one of those live and learn kind of things. Having their plate # doesn't do shit for you. I feel sorry for the poor little shit that would try to pull that on me again...

 

Could have been stolen.... who knows. My dad was in FL a while back in his work truck and accidently rearended a corvette. The guy jumped out of the car looked at it and said no harm not worried and was gone.
