ok. im having a little problem with my sr20 swap....i got the car to idle but after about 2-3 mins the car will cut off on its own then its a bit of a pain to get to turn back on....could it be because im using a stock US 96 240sx fuel pump and not the walbro 255 ??
maybe a leaky injector my old s14 had that problem, it would idle rough and i'd have to keep my foot on the throttle, but it had idle problems as it was
seems to idle fine just not for long....about the vacuum at idle...sorry dont have anyway telling what that is (using barnyard tools) dont have any leaks from the maf all the way to the throttle body that i know of cuz everything is tighter than a 30 year old virgin...i cleaned the IAC as good as possible....
no...no boost gauge yet...and anumeric the ignitor chip is fine....any other suggestions??? i do thank you guys for taking your time to reply...
without knowing for a fact that you don't have a vacuum leak, you might as well just start replacing random parts...
I would start with ecu coolent temp sender
too much fuel perhaps. that's what it sounds like to me if it's running rough then it dies and its hard to start wouldn't you think its dumping too much fuel. just my opinion. good luck sorry i can't help more i've been out of the nissan game for a good while.
