Was that really a BGN car or was it one of the NASA SCCS cars? Either way it is pretty cool. If I were to go racing again I would try to get something lined up for an SCCA car. I really like those things. Basically a road racing version of a Langley LMSC car.

But that only has a chance of happening a few completed college educations from now.

It was a real bush car. I've know the owner for years now, and he bought it last year sans drivetrain and is prepping it for historic racing. He runs it at the car guys events for the track time.

I had thought about doing that at one time, but anything old and Cup or Bush is so valuable now. I remember when an old Junie Donleavy car Winston Cup car went for $950 at a racers auction. I paid $3300 for a roller BGN car some years ago that I converted into a road race car. You just don't do that anymore. Great to see someone doing something like that. I don't reallt think they make that good of a track school car, but it is great fun none the less. I should keep an eye out for old SCCS cars.... hummmm..
