state inspection

Default state inspection

I'm go to skool at ODU and i need to get a state inspection for the car i just bought, where's a good spot to get it inspected where no one is anal about everything, If i remember correctly coil overs are illegal now, and thats about it for the integra that isn't legal, i got everything else to be right so it should pass...

I wasn't aware that coilovers are illegal now. People up here are probably not gonna help you since you're a brand new member to this site.

coilovers arent illegal, the height is illegal. i havent been pulled in years bout i think is is 14 inchs ground to bumper support. just raise it up.

go somewhere where they have inspections, if there are no big reasons for your car to not pass i wouldnt worry about it. even if coilovers do fail you, then just adjust them and go back and pay the $1 to get it reinspected

after you pay the price and fail it is 1 dollar to inspect again, which if you passed all but one thing, they will just check that.

no...the cheap ones (ground controls, or ones with sleeves that fit over the stock strut) are. a true coil over is fine, but how many people do you see with them? standard issue ricer is gonna run some GC's on koni yellows, cause thats what everyone on HT tells them to run

Wow that's a pretty broad statment. With custom spring rates and a fully adjustable strut I would hardly call that ricer. A good combo would put you at about 700-800 bucks. I mean the $99 dollar coilovers are pretty rice. But to call a custom GC setup rice is a bit much don't ya think?
