Im new...and a review....
Hi all.....obviously it's my first post here. I was referenced to this place to a friend I work with, and it seems to be pretty nice.
Anyways, I need to say I like all cars, imports or domestics. If I dont like something I dont make a big deal about it, like some do. Everyone has their own taste, like I have mine.If you hate me for having a neon, so be it
Anyways, I am a proud owner of a 2003 red Dodge SRT-4. Pretty sure it is the first in the area, and one of the first in the state. It has good points and bad, like every car. It is not the fastest car in the world, but it is not the slowest either.
Here's quick list of Pro Vs. Con:
Pro:
I feel turbo lag is small
tourque is there through a wide spectrum
tires stick well (Michelin Pilot Sports)
good base car to start with
transmission feels strong
Con:
Let me point out the obvious: NO LSD
Launching takes some time to manage good
turbo and manifold are a one piece design
front pillar blocks view when I make left turns
blinds spots that Excursions can hide in
I plan to keep it stock for a bit to allow some better Research and Development into the parts.I have seen alot out very early, and that scares me since it hasnt been time tested and better stuff probably is around the corner.
I might attend the may ball game, since I was invited by the one who refered me. Anyways, nice to be here and hopefully some fun lies ahead.
