is anyone running a type r tranny on a b18b ... whats ur gas milage .have u ran it in the 1/8th,1/4 ..what were your times...how do u like the short gearing of it?

B16 trannys are similar, and when on the highway you're looking at HIGH RPMs just cruising. I think I've read its good for a few tenths off in the 1/4, but if you are dailying the car I think the losses on the highway outweigh. I did the research on this well over a year ago, so I could have forgotten some things. You can get an LS 5th gear put in a B16 tranny and get the benefits of shorter gearing, but also have a usable 5th gear on the highway.
