passenger seat wont move back or forward!

ok well i have a 1990 honda civic hatchback dx and i just noticed when my friend sat in the passenger seat he tried to move it back but it didnt....
n e ideas on how to fix it or what to look for?

Do you mean, when he went to get in the back seat, it didn't slide forward? Or... he was sitting in the front seat, and it didn't move at all?

he was in the front passanger seat and he tried to move it back and it wouldnt so we tried to move it forward then back and it WONT BUDGE!

i bet there is a penny or coin stuck in the track. get a flashlight, some pliers/long screwdrivers and go fishing.

This seriously just happened to me last month. It was the funniest damn thing. I couldn't see it until the seat was out of the truck though, so go ahead and just remove the seat, it's so much easier to work on.

yea take the seat out that happend at my work and took the seat out and found a dime i think. it was bent pretty bad. if i didn't take the seat it would have been worse getting it out.
