Okay i got a GSR i swapped a H22 in and it won't go into gear while running at all but, with the car off is goes in perfectly so the lickage is straight ?? The clutch is newer like 15k on it. Clutch was real tight. Its been sitting for 3 weeks i come back from a trip to fla and its like this wtf ?? I'm thinking maybe the master pooped ?? I know this is a common occurance but, i personally have never dealt with it ?? anybody got any quick clues of why this would happen

Well obviously when the engine isn't running the input shaft isn't under load so it goes into gear, the master cylinder or slave cylinder could be shot. pump the pedal and have someone check for proper movement of the slave cylinder. If nothing it doesn't rule out a good master/bad slave, to check, bleed the system and check for good pressure out of the bleed screw, if so, then the master is probably good. Plus, a bad slave usually leaks. If both are good then the problem is most likely internal, release mechanism, throw out bearing, pressure plate.

Yea i just checked the slave it seems the motions look normal when someone is pumping there is no leaks at all that i know of. I haven't got to bleed it yet i need to try that next. I'm praying its not internal. thanks alot for the help.

Most likely you need to bleed it, there could be a very small leak somewhere and you going on vacation for a week it just finally leaked enough to not go into gear anymore. Ive had that problem before on my h22 swaped EG.

god i hope not i got 7k+ in the engine bay already.

 

check the oil in tranny, low oil will bind shafts in place.
