Default sticky gas pedal

I have a 93 del sol, and after any driving, when I let go of the gas pedal, the car idles at 2500+. I thought it was the idle valve until one day I pulled up on the gas pedal, and the car idled at a quite 750 rpms. I'm pretty sure there's something that pushes the pedal back out towards you, where is it, and how can I tighten it up, so that it gets to the position where it lay's off of the gas pedal. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Default Re: sticky gas pedal

well im not sure if this will help you, but my gsr when I first got it, had a kink in the throttle cable. It would get stuck on the throttle pulley and make driving a little tricky. Its possible you could have the same problem, but probably not. Id suggest looking at that though...just sounded alot like your situation.
