Just picked one up and built a few things:

Tested it out last night-scraped a coaster going about 50mph--Its a 3 o clock bar now:

Lincoln Arc Welder--works wonders on steel and it's easy
I got a hook up on steel too--u name the shape/size i can get it the same day any length, any thickness.

Here's a scrap piece I've been practicing on. 6013 stick @ 105 amps. I got 7011 sticks that are stronger and i can go up to 225 amps but that'll prolly end up just burning through that 2 inch stock haha

Its really a great machine i don't know why i've been without one for so long.
I've been welding for along time now(20yrs), I've welded at the shipyard(started at nnsyin86) now I'm at suffolk iron works, I do side jobs if anyone is interested, but for strength purposes(safety) you should be using 7018 or actually mig. 6011 or 6013 is mainly for welding dirty metal to get a good base so you can come back with 70. If anyoneone needs anything pm me or if in suffolk stop by SUFFOLK IRON WORKS 418EAST WASHINGTON STREET, look for blue honda, thats my shop.
