dohc zc head vs. sohc d16 head
i have a zc swap in my eg, if i wanted to turbo it could i use the kit that goes to the sohc motor? i heard a couple of different answers due to the difference in the heads and i wanted to see if anyone knew for sure. thanks guys
ok, then a turbokit of a d16a6 will fit with no modifications done what so ever to the exhaust manifold? and same going for the intake.. say if i was to put a skunk 2 intake manifold on as well?
I know for a fact that the older DOHC ZC motors had slanted exaust ports. With alittle port matching you can easily fix this problem. Not sure if the SOHC ZC's had the same difference but other than that it will work just fine. Something for you to look into. Go to www.Dseries.org. Those guys will def. be able to help you out.

PM Si ZC civic
He's always been the guy I Went to, to ask for DOHC zc questions. But like thebettersol said, I've heard of the exhaust ports being a little slanted.
ok let me explain the exhaust will work if you port match theexhaust manifold just use a die grinder. but the intakes bolt up totally different. the bolt pattern is different. but other than that everything works fine
as above, the intakes are completely different ordeal. exhaust is the same however, and yes a turbo kit for a d-series will fit, aside from the charge pipes, they're chassis specific usually.

But we had to do some port matching on my brothers ZC swap when we used a header that was for the d16a6.
