so my hood flew up and owned my windshield. any suggestions on who to call to get a new one installed? also would it be cheaper to get a windshield from a junkyard and have someone install it..or what would u guys suggest? thanks.

just get a new one put on? did you get a sol? should be around
like 150 or so. or just call your insurance, most windshield claims
dont count as collision and wont make your rates go up.

 

or just bring it to my shop, and i'll call the glass guy to
come out and fix it for you. give me your car info and
i'll get you a price.

check yellow pages, there's a lot of places that come out to your work or wherever and install it. search around.

 

I've used safe-lite before. They're good and come to you or wherever the car is. I had a busted out window and the next morning they were there to fix it for me bright and early.

 

Thats what I did.

Its not all that easy to remove a windshield from a car (used/junkyard) if you don't know what you're doing.

 

no i wouldnt recomend geting one from the junkyard because its like 100 for a windshield from the junkyard then its like another 120 to get it installed all that for a used windshield. i just paid 208 today for a brand new one for my coupe. I called them this morning they came to my work at 4 so i was happy.

man that double clutch you did was sick, it made it chirp so hard in 4th his hood popped up.

That does suck, GL getting a new one. Get some stupid hood pins or a stock hood/latch man.
