OK...I am about to buy some dual altima fans for my 1993 s13 and want to wire them up to the thermostat sensor(or whatever tells the fans to cut on and cut off according to the temp. of the engine)...does anybody know how to do this or have a website that i can visit.........thanx

I just ran mine into my fuel pump power source....so whenever the car is running, so are the fans. By the way, i hope you have a dremel tool cuz you will be doing some cutting on the shroud. Let me know if you may need some help. I will install it for you for 50. That include wiring the way i did. Good Luck

 

i really dont want to wire it up to the fuel pump b/c i read that when the fans are running all the time they wear out quicker and it is not good for the engine to stay that cool.....I just wanted to wire it up the right way to the thermo sensor....i couldnt find a diagram to do it that way still!

 

you can run a manual switch into the cockpit...that way you can switch them on and off at will. That way you can let the car warm up in the winter. I would much rather have my car run a little cool. Are you turbo? Setup?

 

I just remembered the stock fan harness.....Isn't there a sensor wire in there that ran the stock fan? Maybe you could use that. I would go out and check it but my car is in the paint booth again

 

i dont have any fans at all except for the clutch fan.....i saw some people have fans in front of the radiator but i dont have that either...I have a 1993 240sx...i dont know....i'll probably just run a switch or find a way to do it with buying a coolant temp sensor!

 

There has to be a aftermarket for sale to run it with a coolant temp sensor!!!...somebody find it!
