sr20 trouble

Default sr20 trouble

ive got an sr and everyone says its a vacume leak. just in the morning it revs between 1 and 2. but in the afternoon when its hot and coming to a stop sign or stop light it cuts off. can someone help me

Yeah most likely your iacv, but it could also mean you have a bad TPS, 2K RPM is the rpm the motor revs to when the TPS starts to go bad or is unplugged.

You sure you don't mean MAFS? I'm pretty sure you can go past 2K (i'm not sure of the exact RPM number though) without a TPS. I know you can't without a MAFS.

thats correct. it was the problem with my engine, only reved to 2k.

I meant the motor will hold at 2K RPM on IDLE.
