Question Check engine light(PLX Device issue)

Recently I had a PLX M-300 Wideband and Digital A/F gauge installed. I replaced it with the original sensor in my header. Well everything works perfectly except when I Drive for a long period lets say maybe 15 minutes my Check Engine Light comes on after reseting the car. Well I hope maybe someone has used or knows about the PLX Devices. I added the system and did the resistors which was told to do, to trick the ECU in thinking the sensor is heating up etc. Well the resistors I use are two 10watt 10ohm resistors. Anyone ever use this system or may know what power of resistor would be recommended. I was told to either use a 25watt 47ohm resistor or two 10watt 20ohm resistors. I spoke with the tech from PLX and he said to use a 20watt 1kohm resistor which is way more than what one of there support techs said to use which was 2 10watt 20ohm resistors. Well any ways anyone know what the power is for a stock OBDII system is? if there even the same for all the cars.

Thanks,
I know this is very confusing but im just hoping to find some straight answers, cause i get one straight answer then another person says one thing and another. Im just hoping to get more info to figure the issue which is what power resistor to use.(dont feel like connecting on and off of resistors though i may have to)
