I've heard bad and good story's about these. What are you guys opions on these? Does anyone on here do wire tucks? I want to clean up my bay, but i'm affraid im going to mess up something electrical and be screwed. If i decide to do it i'm not going all out with hiding every single wire and shaving every little hole. Just something simple and clean looking.

 

From the looks of the prelude in your sig, i would think that doing a wire-tuck would be one of the last things you do to your car.

Do you want to keep AC? Powersteering? If so, don't even do it.

You can't compare Shawn's(civicboy88) to your car, because he has nothing, it's a built motor in a civic.

Your car is totally different, but it's worth a shot to ask him.

 

It's a great thing to do from a looks standpoint. I can imagine it being a HUGE pain in the ass should you have to troubleshoot though.

 

Thats that reason i posted this thread to see if its worth it and how much of a pain it would be. And I never tried to compare my car to his. But thanks for the input I dont think im going to do it.

 

Unless you fed them all into one (however-many pin) mil-spec bulkhead connector. Would give a point to disconnect everything.

As busy as I have been, I think I'm doing this with a car or two soon?

 

it's easier if the motor is out of the car..... if you have any doubt in your mind, don't try it.... you have to be fully confident in your skills to do a wire tuck the right way.

a wire tuck is the last thing i would do to a car.

 

Must be something with Hondas, cause a lot of the wires I see people moving are things that are already run in the fender of my car

Which is not to say that it wouldn't look better if some of the wires had longer/more inconspicuous routes.
