spoken word poetry????????? ANYWHERE?
Hello everyone, here's the deal.
My cousin is coming in from out of town in two months and she LOVES going to poetry readings and things like that, so I thought it would be cool to take her while she's here, but I dont know of ANYWHERE that has stuff like that. I know there's got to be somewhere locally that has poetry readings, and freeform spoken word, does anyone know of anywhere?
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

They do it at the Voodoo lounge up in Norfolk. Don't remember exactly where it is or how often they have it. I've been to 2 of them though.

Thanks for the replies that were serious. It's incredible how fucking closed minded and fucking stupid some people on here can be.

There is a book store of of azalea garden that does it every Thursday...sorry I don't have the name of the establishment.

Every wednesday night is poetry night at java junction.
