Default Brake lights

My brake lights stopped working the other day. I checked the fuses and they seem to be in working order. I started to check on the brake lights switch above the brake pedal but the switch seems fine, but is there anyway to tell if the switch is the problem? Other then that, it could be corroded wires?
The running lights, the license plate lights, and the horn works as well. I took my car to a dealership to get it checked out but they never did anything. They mistaked my car for an accord and couldn't find this "accord" so no work was done to my car whatsoever. When they finally found my car 5 hours later, they said they needed to keep it over night but I told them I need my car for work the next day.

On their receipt it said they needed more time and because I had "aftermarket" wires. There are no aftermarket wires in my car except for my OEM fog lights, a viper alarm, and my greddy informeter (which hooks up directly to the ECU, thats it).

Is it possible that I need a new brake light switch? Or could it be the wiring that got corroded?

Thanks

My bulbs aren't blown. They were replaced a few weeks ago.
