Re: cleaning rims
go to advanced auto parts, and get some alloy rim spray paint. (6 bux)
Get a Wheel Primer (5 bux) And some Painters tape (4 bux)
From here u got 2 ways to go.
Place painters tape around tire, covering a nice area around the rim. Place a rag/paper towel around ur brake pad. Next spray some Primer on. Let sit for a good 10 minuets. Recoat. After 30 min. Apply The paint. Let sit over night, BEFORE u drive.
If your poor, and cant afford 3 dollar painters tape, Remove all 4 wheels. Apply primer in same steps as before. And paint.
If your really poor, remove rims, dont prime, and just paint. However paint will chip fast without 2-3 coats of primer.
REMEMBER. Apply and let them sit on a night under 80 degress. DO NOT DRIVE! If you drive them without waiting over night, they will collect all the dirt, and it WILL stick the the rim.
Hope this helps man.
