Default B16A SiR vs. S13 SR20DET

which would be faster? b16a in civic/crx 88-91 or sr20det in 240sx 89-94?

sr20det-- 205 HP 203 ft. lbs. torque
b16a-- 160 HP 111 ft. lbs. torque

I would guess the nissan, but I haven't seen anyone around here running that setup. The honda would be lighter, but not as strong an engine. Anyone with any info about sr20's e.t.'s or race results please post. Thanks.

yeah i think the answer is obvious, sr20 can go real fast with little work, and rwd will keep the traciton, 240 all the way

sr20det would be much faster and cheaper, and the motor is ready for more power!!
And this is in no way a biased opinion

There is no good answer to this question because of the variables involved. A stock DET in a 240sx is not that fast. Of course neither is a stock B16 in a Civic. The problem is no one with these setups stay stock for long. Comparing modded cars is impossible due to the variables involved. The RWD car has a advantage of course. The civic is real light. Each has potential but the 240 is a better starting point.
