S2000 bearing/hub replacement...help needed
well, i'm planning on changing the rear right bearing and hub soon. have the bearing and axle nut, just need to pick up the hub. was just curious if theres anyone in the va beach area that might be able to help me with this. i have access to the hobby shop at oceana, so i'm sure they have a decent arsonal of tools. would prefer to do this myself with some help rather than giving it to the dealer. hall honda wants 275 for the job. just pm me or call me(pete) at 773-718-1105...thanks guys!!!

thats what i'm thinking. are there any things i should be careful with. i know on s2ki, there are a lot of people that have messed up thier ball joint boots, is there any way to not let that happen? and of course i need a hydraulic press, i think they have one at the hobby shop.

You may also need a slide hammer. I know sometimes them bearings like to stick to the rest of the suspension work. But I work on Volvos and Nissans...... totally different than Hondas.

yeah, definitley totally different. a slide hammer is mostly used for solid rear axles. the bearing in the s is pressed into the knuckle with the hub.
