What would cause the check engine light to come on, but not throw a code when I jump that 2 wire conector? The light was intermiten, but now it is constant. Still won't throw a code. I think it is something wrong with the MAP or throtle position sensor, maybe o2. It started when I was driving to work in all the rain on friday. I might have gotten a little too wet.

 

Yup it was water in the plugs that go to the ECU. Stupid hurrican.

 

A misfire.
