OMFG~!!! Do I Have Crankwalk~!!??
i have a 95gst with just light mods and 73K on it. i noticed that every once in a while the clutch would lose pressure until about 3/4 of the way down. the clutch fluid is fine and everything else is fine. i just heard somewhere that the clutch sticking in the down position was the earliest sign of crankwalk. damn......anyone have any experience with this? or for the worst case....anyone have experience in dropping motors in eclipses....shit

dont worry about it danny, CW is a serious problem but not ALL dsmers have it. try and get it looked at by a mechanic and see what he says.
p.s Dont listen to victum, he never knows what hes talking about.

Well that could be a symptom. Read up well on it, search the forums and do your reading. I believe www.roadraceengineering.com has some talk about it and its symptoms. The clutch falling to the floor is in fact a sign, and if I'm not mistaken (sorry havent done much reading on crankwalk, cause unlike what everyone in the non-DSM world believes, it isnt that common) it happens after left turns or something similar. There also will be a clicking noise coming from when you push the pedal in coming from in the engine bay. Sorry I'm not the best with this as I personally have never bothered to look up crankwalk much as to me its an overlyhyped thing, but do you reading, and if the symptoms do match up there are ways to test crankplay, and then you'll have your official answer. It could be something as simple as a bad master cyl/slave cyl.
