On Monday I was involved in a 3 car accident with the Ford Cobra. I was next to another Mustang while travelling down 564 west when a 1997 Ford Escort came off the 64E to 546W onramp and lost control. He slid into the side of my car and pushed me into the side of the other Mustang. We were all able to regain control and get them to the side of the road. Everyone was fine and the person that hit me had insurance.

Yesterday, the insurance company picked up the car and have been picking it apart today. Sadly, the cost to repair the vehicle is over what the car is worth. Looks like I'll be in the market for a new car. I'm mostly looking for a 01+ Cobra or an 03/04 Mach1.

How m uch are they giving you? how much is owed? what is the buyback?
If buyback is cheap enough, you can build your dedicated auto-x car.

 

Just buy it back.
