I went up to Lee's Tires a few weeks ago to get new tires put on the car I recently bought. The tires that were on it were in HORRIBLE condition, I mean the tires were all frayed and constantly had to have air put in them since they leaked. Needless to say, on the phone they said they had the tires... When I got there they quoted me a decent price for 4 Toyo Proxes 4s, but didn't have them in stock. They had to have someone drive to the other location and get them, which took approximately 3 hours.

When the tires finally arrived I got an attitude from the bitchiest girl ever who was yelling at me about how bad condition the tires were in and why I didn't notice. I proceeded to tell her that I obviously noticed since I brought the car there to get 4 new tires, she just snickered in disgust and rolled her eyes. A few minutes later she calls me back and gives me more of an attitude about riding on a flat and how I filled it back up, I never once rode on a flat in that car and always carry a few tire gauges on me and quarters in case I need to fill up.

After 4 hours of waiting they are finally finished and I am ready to go in to get an alignment. The guy puts the car up on the small lift and says that they can't align my car because the frame was bent. I called the bullshit and took it to Bert's, who was able to align it, confirmed the frame was in fine condition and was not altered in any way, shape, or form. What was wrong was that one coilover wasn't adjusted correctly and Lee's was to lazy to see what was wrong and didn't have the proper equipment. I knew I couldn't trust that place the minute I saw that little gremlin dude sitting behind the counter.

haha i work at tune up plus on warwick and this lady's tire flew off as she was passing the shop, almost took out a hrt bus too. one of our techs ran down there and gave her a buisness card lol when he came back he said she told him she just got the car worked on at lee's tires.

 

Yea Fuck Lee's Tires!! I Bought Rims and Tires from them they put them on my car. The next day my front tire blew out. The dam inside of the tire looked like it was dry rotted. They basically told me they wouldn't do anything about that.They sell old ass dry rotted tires with the rim tire packages. I spent mad money there they showed me shitty customer service. JUST ORDER OFF THE INTERNET FROM A WELL KNOWN COMPANY. WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THEM PEOPLE AGAIN.

 

I was about to get an alignment from them but the guy told me that I had all these suspension problems so I thought I better go w/my gut and take it to Berts. Berts told me there was no problem so Lee Tires is shady in my book! Plus I always order tires online now just because of the savings vs retail stores.

 

Yea, I may personally go up and repremand them on their business practices and bring along my old teacher who passed the bar exam to scare the shit out of them.

of COURSE Lee's Tires is shady. Anyone who's lived in norfolk oh...EVER knows that.
