Arai RX7 Corsair is one of the best helmets money can buy as far as I'm concerned.. There's a place in Iowa that's selling all in stock merchandise for 50% off and that DOES include Arai helmets. Not sure if they still have them, but I want to pick up another Arai!!!! You'll never see another 50% off Arai sale again, ever! lol..

it's not that they protect your head any better, but they are more comfortable.. more catered to head shapes.. breathe better.. and are much lighter. lots of technology that the cheaper helmets don't utilize. I think the Corsair has like 14 vents! lol..

I'm looking at the Blue Tommy Gun actually. One of the reviews I read said it was loud though.....Anyone else have the same problems?

Do you wear ear plugs?

Most of the race replica helmets are going to be louder than your average helmet.. They have amazing ventilation. I've also noticed that maybe I'm not as sensitive to noise as some people are. In many cases, the better ventilated the helmet, and the lighter the helmet, the noisier it is. However, I would not consider the TommyGun/Corsair to be that loud.

I dont think its to loud but i've never used any other helmet to compare to. Also if you get helmet a size to big then it will be louder.
