Exclamation Car wont start with p28

Ok i just picked up a p28 and hooked up the conversion harness and pluged it into my 2000 HX. When i go to start it, it trying to turn over but doesn't. Also its throwing like 1/2 a check engine light, it comes on but not fully illuminated. Do i need to convert another part of my car to obd1? Any help will be greatly apriciated.

Ok i did some research and talked to some HX owners and some actualy said that it was OBD2a and not b. It really doesnt seem likely but im going to look into it.

Ok i figured this shit out! Come to find out the HX is more of a bastard child than i thought. All 99-00 cars are suposed to be OBD2b right, WRONG!!!!!!! This car is OBD2a!!! So for all of you unfortunate souls that are working with a HX and are trying to convert to OBD1, get the A harness.
