Default Need welding done ....

I have a RC51 Gas tank that needs to be welded. Will pay There is no hole.

The leak is around the bottom bracket. if you can weld a gas tank give me a call..

Isn't there alot more then to just spot welding a gas tank. Like don't you have to treat it first to make sure it doesn't catch on fire or anything. Sorry probably wrong here i'm just used to bigger things then a motorcycle tank.

Not sure why its leaking. I am guessing that someone before me tried to take the tank off without taking out the bottom bolt and bent the tack welded plate some. I was not told that it leaked.. they had tried ot fix it with JB weld but it only held for so long roughly a month at a time.

i weld. i would be able to weld it....but im not sure about what i would have to do as far as making it so the gas tank wouldnt catch on fire when i go to weld it..i can check at my job. ill let you know.

Call Horace of Wheel at Rim Repair at 757-729-1737. I have seen him fix leaks in trailer truck gas tank as well as car gas tanks before.
