Looking at replacing the tires on the catfish. Putting on a good all season performance tire thats inexpensive as I have 18's on the rear. Not looking for a drag radial or something thats going to cost me 1k in tires. I have similar Sumitomo's on the Cobra and like them but looking at these.
275/40ZR17 for the front and 275/40ZR18 for the rear.
Anyone have any badluck with these? I hope not because I am getting a good deal on these locally.
well i've never used those tires before so i cant comment on those but i do have 275/40/18's on the rear and personally i think they are to tall of a tire. they rub pretty bad w/ my 18x9 saleen wheels w/ sportline springs.im not sure how wide your wheel is but i would recommend some some 295/35's or even some 285/35's. with 275/40/17's up front and 295/35/18's out back your rear tires would be aprox .4-.5 inch taller than the front. with 275/40/18's they would be aprox 1 inch taller. with the 285/35's it would only be about 1/4 taller but personally i dont care for the 285's that much because they dont have enough sidewall.
