Question 5 wire to 4 wire O2 sensor conversion

Ok ive heard of this with a couple OBD1 conversions for a turbo setup and was wondering why it is done and what are the benifits? Also could i wire up my secondary 4 wire as my primary for the conversion?

Cool Re: 5 wire to 4 wire O2 sensor conversion

Ok i did a little research and the 5 wire O2 sensor on my car is refered to as a wideband sensor. Would it be best to keep this one instead of going to a 4 wire?
