Need someone to do some internal work on my h22..help!!
Ok I have been trynna to get this car fixed since March but I have had no luck. I have a 97 prelude sh which is knocking very very bad...probaly a warped rod or bearing. The car still runs but it is not driveable at all. I need someone to take this bitch apart and replace whatever needs to be replaced. I will buy the parts needed myself...unless there is a good shop anyone knows about who can do it all. Every shop I call says they won't do it and they try to give me the option of a swap for like $4000 which is bullshit. I am looking all over for a h22a4 from a sh that had atts...I don't care what anyone tells me about how the base and sh are the same motor....NO!!! They are slightly different because of the ATTS and I have already had one attempt to get a swap but it would not fit because it came out of a base. I live in the middle of nowhere and all the redneck mechanics don't wanna do any work on an import. So I need a place that either builds engines or does internal work. Of all of the built and boosted Hondas I see riding around there has to be a place or someone good that will just take this bitch apart and put in some new rods/pistons...ect. I need this car back asap...it's been way to long...Thanks
