Default Project Car: What would you do?

Seems slow, and I'm interested in doing something in the future.. If you were to take on a project car, whether it be restore, make a track monster, drag monster, a kit car, whatever, what would you do (realistically in the near future)?

Me personally, I kind of want something different I guess, that you wouldn't see 5 times a day..

-240ZX, I don't know if I would stick with a turbo nissan 6 or swap a SBC.. problem with this car obviously is the rust issue..

-928 S4, always loved this car, and it already has what I want to achieve, v8, handles great, looks great, etc etc..

-944, awesome sports car..

Who knows what I would do to each car, but it would be wild in terms of power.

Realistically, I would love to do one of these.

LS1 RX-7 (Whoops, already done that.) Either for drag racing or track.

240 SX w/SR20 - Drift car. Never drifted but it looks kind of fun.

AWD Talon - Drag Car

Turbo Foxbody - Drag car

Actually, I have been thinking this same thing. I want to build a car for PINKS real cheap.

I'd like to do something light with a high revving sportbike motor in it.. and when I say that, I do not necessarily mean a car with a motorcycle engine. The Gixxer kart was always appealing, but that's already been done.

Why not Garen thinks that is would be cool to put one in a 510. Do the gixxer scooter or gixxer atv.

I would own one if you could ever find them on the east coast. I only know of one in Roanoke.

3-rotor swap? This was a realistic post remember. A 3-rotor FD will run in the 30K's easy.

People spend $30k on cars\car projects, ect.. everyday.. what is so unrealistic about that? Besides it would not cost near $30k to swap that bad boy in a 510. An FD, I could see that while including the cost of the car.

My 85 Dodge Omni that I will be working on soon, hopefully it will make an appearance at Richmond soon. Just to see what it does close to stock, shooting for a mid 13.

If i was to buy another car just build for the track, I would get another SE-R and swap a SR20VE in it, cage it, then beat the shit out of it on the track.
