Default Help with my 95 Civic

I have a 95 Civic Ex coupe with about 130,000 miles. I'm looking to give it a kick in the ass with some extra power. I've thought about going the forced induction route, but I'm not to sure how the current engine would handle it. Then I've thought about getting a new motor and building it, but Im not sure what is the best motor/power for the money.
Some obsticals with this car are the automatic transmission that I would prefer to keep, the fully adjustable air suspension, and the heavy sound system. Does anybody have any helpful hints or ideas??

I would go with a B or H series swap. Just the basic swap will give you a big kick in the pants performance gain.

My helpful ideas are to get rid of the heavy air ride setup and heavy audio system. Then you won't need as much power. Get rid of the automatic also, those tend to waste power pretty effectively and make driving boring. So maybe get a different car, and go from there.

turbo > b/h swap

if you're worried about mileage, I have 170,000 on my d16z6 (untouched) and I'm making 228whp @ 11psi, it's been boosted for a ~year.
