This kid down here is selling a fully built sti for $18k...says its making some kind of bearing noise....no power loss, doesn't smoke, idles fine...something makes me think he knows something else is wrong and isn't sayin...

 

hes full of shit. sti's go for 25000~ with out mods.

I'm not kidding, he has an add in the paper and on the local boards...says something is up with motor but doesn't want to deal with it anymore....I mean, how much is an sti motor used? $4k at the most? Body has 50k on it and motor has 10k....something is up though...

 

Haggle him down, and scoop it up.

2.5 blocks can he had from the dealership for less than 1700 bucks.

 

Shit, I have NO money, I've dropped over $5k on my 240 build so far.....but someone SHOULD get it...has clean title also....I still think something is up though...

 

ReRead what you just typed..... 50k on the body, 10k on the motor.... what is it his 2nd? 3rd? 4th? motor? Sounds like some1 doesnt know how to tune or just rags the piss out of it. Check the frame, body panels and if their fine if so get that shit

 

he did say built motor...40k on the motor before the build possibly?

 

I dont know sounds shady I would want to know exactly whats done to it, and who built it. Most of the reputable subaru motor builders have better lasting motors than that. But then again, everything has its limits, and he might of just pushed them a little to far.
